Our story
We're Sabrina and Selina, founders, friends, and big believers that everyday snacks should be worth reaching for.
We grew up in Sri Lankan and Indian households where sev was an everyday staple. Whether it was after school, between meals or with a cup of tea, there was always a tin or bowl nearby. We loved its bold flavour and satisfying crunch, but realised it wasn’t the best way to snack.
So we started Wurthi! A lighter, more convenient reinvention of sev, made for everyone.
After plenty of kitchen experiments, Wurthi is now in its final stages of product and brand development and we’re getting ready to launch in early 2027.
